Welcome to HOLY PUBLIC JUNIOR COLLEGE

The school is situated at Awas Vikas Colony Sikandra/Bodla, Agra. The school was established in 2002. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The CBSE syllabus is followed right from Ist to XIIth Standard. The medium of instruction is purely English. Special emphasis is given to the teaching of spoken English at all levels.

Late Shri Haresh Singh Tomar was a noted educationist, thinker, and a visionary. He dreamt of an educational system based on values like honest conviction and self-confidence. Holy Public Junior College has distinguished itself by realizing the dreams of its founding father of fulfilling the educational needs which are most essential for the personal growth of its students and community welfare. Late Mrs. Tara Tomar, Co-founder of the school, was also a great visionary. She supported him and the school began to touch new horizons.

Today, school can be defined as a playground of academic excellence with a focus on molding the personality and individual strength of the students to make them confident citizens of this global world. From the humble beginning at Sikandra, today the students of this unit have an easy access to all the modern facilities as well-equipped computer, science and mathematics and English language lab. The library, the reservoir of knowledge, has been stocked with umpteen volumes of books. With the contribution of students and teachers alike every member has contributed a lot to bringing to life the dream of establishing a world-class institution.

The school has very well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer lab, Music Room, SUPW Room and a very big spectacular auditorium with a sitting, capacity for over 1000 people.

To cope-up with the modern world, Smart Classes have been going on since last 10 years from I to XII. Traditional as well as new methods of teaching create zeal among the students who like the system very much. The school has the working force of over 80 people who are continuously involved in the well-being of the children and the upkeep of the school.

Refurbishment of the building and adding up to the facilities has established this school as a school with unbeatable infrastructure. Steps have been taken to give the best equipment and ensure safety in the labs. Sports facilities like Taekwondo, Table Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball and Badminton courts have been provided to ensure that our students have a healthy mind within a healthy body. We have a big ground to accommodate all our students during mass assembly. Our class X and XII examination results are showing improvement every year. Our list of achievements has kept on swelling as our students have kept on adding one after another laurel to our list. Whether it be cultural activities or sports or any Co-curricular our students excel in all the fields. The computer lab has been revamped and the students have easy access to the computers. The facility of the new technology of Interactive panels is also being provided.

MISSION

Our School is progressing rapidly due to the improving examination result and achievements. Recent refurbishment of investment in the building has meant that the school has unbeatable facilities and equipment.  We are delighted with the increase in popularity.

The school has all facilities like playground, Table Tennis, Basketball grounds, Library, Roll Ball courts, Smart Classes etc.

Our classrooms are excellent. Each classroom and department have been redesigned and carpeted. Our computer equipment is up to – date, with an opportunity for each child in the teaching group to work on their machine. All other departments have access to Information Technology. New Music and Drama studios will enhance the overall performance of the child.

We are frequently complimented upon the quality of displays. They reflect the pride pupils and Teacher take in their work.

Our greatest asset is our teaching staff who are well qualified and experienced. They combine professionalism, drive with care and understanding. Their aim is to ensure that teaching and learning is the most important thing happening in the school and provides the best experience possible for each child.
